How to Handle
How to handle your stone upon receiving delivery
Read before the items are unwrapped from the packaging.
1) Use scissors or a Stanley blade to remove black binder. Always cut in the direction away from the stone. DO NOT pull or tug on the binder to try to remove.
2) Cut the black wrapping down one full side and remove carefully. Peel away at the corners slowly, DO NOT just rip it off.
3) Remove all pieces of polystyrene packaging carefully.
4) Take the polystyrene you have just removed from the top and use it as a base to place the top stones upon to check over, ensuring no damages have occurred during transit.
DO NOT place the stone on the floor with no protection underneath.
–DO NOT pick the stone up from the corners, or the base. You must pick up with your hands firmly holding the side of the stone.
– DO NOT place stones on top of each other
– DO NOT place the stone directly on top of your brickwork without any mortar.
Cast stone is to be handled with care.
Your order MUST be checked over upon delivery. If there are visible damages before the pallet is unwrapped, you must refuse the delivery, and the driver will return it to us.
If you find there are damages once the pallet has been unwrapped, please take photographs and send them over to us via email as soon as possible so we can investigate and get any issues resolved for you as soon as possible.
